Event Information

Minami美波, a new generation of popular singer-songwriter who has successfully risen not only in Japan but also in Asia, will hold "Minami美波 BLUE LINE ASIA TOUR 2023-2024 in Kuala Lumpur" at Zepp on February 25, 2024. 


 

Minami美波 found her inspiration in Yutaka Ozaki (尾崎豊) during junior high, leading her to buy a guitar and dive into music. In 2017, she launched her musical journey by releasing her first mini-album, "Emotional Water," and her debut mini-single, "main actor." That same year, she fulfilled her dream of hosting a solo concert in Shibuya, titled "Emotional Water ~ my teen finale~."


 

In 2019, she made her mainstream debut with the album, “Kawaki wo Ameku (カワキヲアメク)”. In the album, the title song for TV anime "Domestic Girlfriend" Opening song "Crying for Rain" gained popularity with more than 200 million views on YouTube. Minami美波's other works on YouTube have more than 30 million views as well, with the total number of hits for all her works on YouTube achieving nearly 500 million views.


 

Her cute and humorous personality naturally shows when interacting on social media, which has garnered much attention from fans. In November, Minami held a sudden live broadcast for two consecutive days on social media, surprising many. Fans from overseas have expressed their expectations for overseas tours as well as their love toward Minami's songs. Minami played the guitar and piano during the live performance and sang “Crying for Rain” as requested by the fans. 


 

Minami美波 has always been looking forward to touring overseas, and is excited to be in Asia for the first time on this tour. Her "Minami美波 BLUE LINE ASIA TOUR 2023-2024" starts in Taipei, then hits Kuala Lumpur – it's her first time touring overseas, in just these two cities.   11. Photography with smartphones ( camera equipment is not allowed) is permitted inside the venue, but live streaming on various social media platforms (Tiktok, Instagram, etc) is prohibited. Furthermore, please refrain from using flash as it is not allowed due to production requirements.

  12. No weapon, sharp object, explosive, toxic, flammable, narcotic, or other item that may cause a potential safety hazard or disturbance to the event is allowed.

  13. No outside food or beverages are allowed.

  14. No noisemakers, balloons, large signs (bigger than A3 size: 42cm x 29.7cm), large bags (bigger than 35cm x 20cm), selfie sticks, long umbrellas, laser pointers, or other items that would cause interference or disturbance to another individual or the event are allowed.

  15. No unofficial show merchandise or light sticks are allowed.

  16. The organizer reserves the right to carry out body and bag checks for security purposes upon entering the venue.

  17. The organizer reserves the right to revise the event time, venue layout, and audience capacity without prior notice.

  18. Wearing a face mask during the event is advisable for your own health concern.

  19. If you are tested COVID positive, are under quarantine, have had close contact with a COVID patient, or are displaying any COVID symptoms, please refrain from attending the event.
